Job Description

Conduct disassembly, cleaning, blasting, inspection/testing, and assembly of wheels and brakes, along with their substructure components, within authorised parameters.
Rectify all defects discovered on components during inspection within authorised parameters.
Certify work performed by others within authorised parameters.
Offer training to new staff and trainees as needed.
Utilise maintenance data, conduct, and sign off on job cards within authorised parameters.
Assign work/tasks to others based on their qualifications, experience, workload, and work priorities.
Issue Project Release to Service and EASA FORM1 for components within authorised scope.
Ensure proper usage and storage of tools and equipment, ensuring that all special equipment is used according to approved manuals and that personnel possess sufficient qualifications, knowledge, and experience.

Eligibility

Minimum age: 21 years
Education - One of the following: apprenticeship certificate, skilled worker/journeyman's certificate, or similar qualification:
Demonstrated completion of vocational training in a field relevant to the maintenance of aircraft wheels and brakes. OR
An Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) pertinent to the type and scope of the release activity. OR
An aeronautical diploma or certificate in the relevant field applicable to the release activity. OR
Diploma or certificate from a technical school. OR
Military diploma or certificate relevant to the release activity, along with an aeronautical diploma or certificate. OR
In the event of CC/S holding the Italian CIT (Certificato Idoneità Tecnica).
Experience: Qualification obtained within the past 12 months, accompanied by practical maintenance experience in WBS at an approved aircraft or components maintenance organisation.
English language: Adequate proficiency in reading and writing, with a functional understanding of the language predominantly used in the publication of maintenance data, primarily English.
Utilising and having knowledge of the ERP system – AMOS (advantageous).
