Job Description
- Perform disassembly, cleaning, blasting, inspection, and assembly of aircraft wheels and brakes, as well as their substructure components, within authorised parameters.
- Identify and rectify all defects found on components during disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and assembly within authorised parameters.
- Ensure the completion of signing technical documents and required inspection items on corresponding worksheets, job cards, or similar documents within authorised parameters.
- Adhere strictly to the use of maintenance data, performing and signing off on job cards within authorised scope.
- Receive and prioritise work orders, worksheets, etc.
- Performing administrative tasks such as data entry into ERP systems (e.g., AMOS) within authorised parameters.
- Distribute work/tasks to others based on their qualifications, experience, workload, and work priorities.
- Identifying and initiating necessary repairs on components.
- Ensuring proper use and storage of tools and equipment, and ensuring that all specialised equipment is used according to approved manuals by personnel with sufficient qualifications, knowledge, and experience.
- Provide assistance to other production staff as required.
- Provide support to other departments and managers as required.
- Adherence to occupational safety and health, environmental protection, civil protection, fire safety regulations, and internal protocols.
